Winscombe Club operates under a ' club premises certificate from North Somerset Council' and is licenced for a qualifying members club to supply alcohol to members and their guests, and to provide regulated entertainment, such as live music or dancing. This certificate allows the club to do these things without needing a personal licence holder for each instance, We meet the specific conditions to qualify as a 'qualifying club' set out below.

What it allows:-

1) Alcohol supply: Allows the club to supply alcohol to its members and sell it to guests.

2) Regulated Entertainment: Permits the provision of entertainment like live music, plays, and indoors sporting events.

Key requirements for the club:-

1) Qualifying club status: The club must be established in good faith and meet certain conditions, such as having at 25 members.

2) Membership process: New members cannot be admitted until at least two days after their nomination or application.

3) Alcohol supply: Alcohol can only be suppled on behalf of the club to members.
